PHILOSOPHY
The Seventh-day Adventist philosophy of education is Christ centered. Adventist
believe that, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Gods character and purpose
can be understood as revealed in the Bible, in Jesus Christ and in nature. The
distinctive characteristics of Adventist education - derived from Bible and writings
of Ellen G White - point to the redemptive aim of true education: To restore human
beings into the image of their Maker. Source: FE 05 ID 4C working policy 2002-2003 : 221.
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission is to reaffirm the wholistic development of the student through the
Adventist philosophy of education. The School endeavors to provide a broad and liberal
education in a Christian context. Utmost emphasis is laid on training children for
leadership. This is best done by giving responsibilities.
GOAL
Education is a means of moulding the minds of students in the right direction, so
that they are ready to face the world academically mentally, spiritually, physically
and emotionally.
The school seeks to create individuals who are aware of their right and
responsibilities and can fruitfully contribute to the community. This aim is achieved
through a well designed programme that balances formal and informal education.
